MARY KATE is a highly-acclaimed champion Irish step dancer, trained by Liam Harney and Michelle Malone-Chiles.  She has trained in and performed Irish dancing for over 20 years. Mary Kate was awarded many championship titles in competition, appeared as a semi-finalist on Season 8 of So You Think You Can Dance as an Irish dancer, and has performed in Irish dance in shows at theaters including Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center, the New Victory Theater on 42nd Street, and Jacob’s Pillow Inside/Out. She has also worked with fusing traditional Irish dancing with modern and contemporary dance on her own and as a collaborator and performer for Darrah Carr Dance in New York City (see Black Velvet Band below).
