Mary Kate is a 500-hr certified Vinyasa yoga teacher. She completed her 200-hr training in 2021 with Love Story Yoga (San Francisco, CA) under the guidance of Stephanie Snyder and Susannah Freedman. Love Story Yoga focuses heavily on Bhakti (Devotional) Yoga and the integration of yoga philosophy and chanting with the physical practice. She completed an additional 300-hr training with Jason Crandell in 2025, with an emphasis on functional anatomy and class sequencing. Following a consistent flow of movement and breath, Mary Kate's class aims to provide a challenging yet satisfying physical journey that is in fact an embodied expression and exploration of yoga philosophy.

A life-long dancer, Mary Kate identifies heavily with using the body as a tool and method for accessing the deeper, more subtle layers of our minds, hearts, and the human experience. She is ready to help guide all levels of practitioners to find the yoga practice which is right for them. Mary Kate's classes rarely include difficult or acrobatic poses or handstands, focusing instead on classic poses (like Lunges and Warrior poses) which are accessible and dynamic for all bodies, ages, and levels. She is passionate about injury management and recovery and about finding ways to work with and respect the boundaries of our bodies on any given day.

Private lessons are available upon request, and prices vary depending on the location and duration of the class.

Mary Kate teaches weekly classes in the center of Athens and is available to teach workshops upon request.
